SAMPLING PROBE
The sample probe installed in the chimney at the sampling point and connected directly to the sample transport line has the following characteristics:

  • Electrically heated to maintain the temperature above the dew point.
  • It has an in-line filter to remove particulates.
  • It allows automatic calibration to be carried out optimally by passing the sample from the cylinder through the same components of the system in order to achieve the correct operational and chemical reproducibility.

SAMPLE TRANSPORT LINE
The electrically heated sample transport line with temperature control above the sample dew point allows the sample to be transported without altering its chemical properties.

SAMPLE TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR ANALYSERS THAT MEASURE ON A DRY BASIS
The sample treatment system operates in such a way that the sample does not alter the chemical composition of the sample, keeping it as it is in the flue.  To do this, the sample is taken using a special pump and kept at a temperature above the dew point throughout transport to prevent condensation.

The H2O is then quickly removed to prevent dilution of some of the components. A system of filters and various controls then checks that everything is working properly.

It is our policy to normally use the tools specified by the customer, while validating their suitability in accordance with current regulations and certifications.

VALIDATION AND CALIBRATION SYSTEM
The system allows automatic or manual calibration of the analyzers using certified mixtures contained in pressurized cylinders. At the same time, it monitors every system alarm that could compromise proper functioning and therefore the analytical results. It transmits any anomalies to the data acquisition and processing system, indicating that the analytical data may be invalid.

DATA ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING SYSTEM
The acquisition is normally carried out using a special PLC that transmits all measurements and related status alarms to a PC, which can also be installed remotely, and which applies the algorithms in accordance with the regulations in force. It presents the data in a special file to the competent authorities.
