FL5000 Multi-Spectrum IR Flame Detector

Brand new technology, with FM-approved performance for 22 flammable substances The FL5000 from MSA General Monitors® is a multispectral infrared (MSIR) flame detector. The FL5000 uses state-of-the-art infrared (IR) detectors and an advanced flame detection algorithm based on sophisticated leak detection technology (ANN, Artificial Neural Network) to provide a system with high immunity to false alarms caused by lightning, reflected sunlight, arc welding, hot objects, and other sources of radiation. Thanks to their mechanical and electrical characteristics, they can be installed in “extreme” environments such as chemical plants, platforms, refineries, and many others.
