Liquid Metering System

Liquid measurement systems, commonly used in industries such as oil, gas, and chemicals, are designed to accurately measure the volume or mass of a fluid in transit. At the heart of these systems is the meter, which can be volumetric (such as turbine meters or PD meters) or mass (such as Coriolis meters). The choice of meter depends on the characteristics of the fluid, such as viscosity, temperature, and pressure.
A liquid measurement system includes totalization and control systems (e.g., flow computers, PLC + HMI systems) and related devices for volume correction and compensation (e.g., pressure, temperature, and density sensors), ensuring measurement accuracy with respect to standard conditions. These systems are often integrated with additional instruments such as filters, flow control valves, and sampling systems to ensure optimal operations and complete quality control.
